HOLUBOVÁ, Monika
The thesis deals with babysitters´ conceptions of leisure time, their time perception during babysitting and their perception of how children and their parents evaluate this time. The aim was to find out how babysitters perceive their leisure time and the time they spend by babysitting and how is their understanding of how children whom they babysit perceive this time and how it is perceived by their parents. The theoretical part explains the circumstances of carers (babysitters), families and parenting and last but least leisure time. The chosen topics are supposed to be those that are necessary for the presentation of babysitting as a complex matter. The practical part contains substantial portions from the interviews with the respondents. It focuses on the carers´ perception of their leisure time and what difficulties are connected with babysitting as well as how carers (babysitters) spend their time during babysitting and how they think children would like to spend it and how they think parents´ conception is.
